This course introduces you to the diverse landscape of alternative asset classes. We first discuss how the investment universe has changed over the years and how investors have tapped into increasingly diverse sources of returns by expanding the investment universe further and further into the so-called alternative asset classes.
We then venture deeper into some of these alternative asset classes. We discuss how investing in commodities differs from investing in financial securities, explain the active management approach of hedge funds and explore the dynamics of private markets.
This course provides a solid understanding of alternative investments and their potential for optimizing your investment portfolio.
