If you're looking for a solid foundation on which to build your expertise in derivatives, this is the course for you. The course introduces you to futures, forwards and options in a straightforward but rigorous way. We discuss the different derivative instruments, how they are used, priced and risk managed. The course requires no special mathematical skills but provides you with enough quantitative support so that you can have informed discussions with option traders and any other option specialist. This is an interactive course, including live review sessions and access to coaches.

Frequently asked questions - Derivatives Advanced

Can I register today even if the course starts later? 

Absolutely! You can register today and will obtain immediate access to the e-learnings. But there will be no live webinars until the official course start.

What will happen once I enrol? 

Once you register, we will send a first email with all the necessary information. Check your spam box if you did not receive it. 
We will also send you a reminder email 2 weeks before the coached course starts.  
But be sure to enter date and time of the kick-off webinar and all successive webinars in your calendar as early as possible. 

How can I check if my current derivative knowledge is sufficient for the Derivatives Advanced program?

You do not need any specific derivative knowledge for the Derivative Advanced course. We will start with the fundamentals and bring you far ahead to advanced topics. Is is helpful if you have some basic understanding of the financial markets as well as the main instruments and concepts such as shares, bonds, interest rates, and exchange rates. 

What if I enrol but then realise the level is too high for me? 

You should not worry about that. We will start with the fundamentals and build up your knowledge step-by-step. Should still feel that this is not the course for you, simply talk to us early on. We want happy customers and will refund you. 

How can I best prepare for the Derivative Advanced program?

Is is helpful if you have some basic understanding of the financial markets as well as the main instruments and concepts such as shares, bonds, interest rates, and exchange rates. You should be able to perform simple interest rate calculations. 

How long will I have access to the e-learning material? 

You will have access for a year, but if you more time or need to review something, simply be in touch and we will extend the access. 

I only want access to the e-learnings, but not to the webinars and coaches. Is this possible? 

It is not what we recommend, but yes it is possible.
